Wooden Foldable Chairs

I recently purchased a set of wooden foldable chairs and I've been pleasantly surprised by how much use I have had out of them. I purchased the set as I wanted to save a little bit of space out in the garden however I have since found out that they have plenty of other advantages.

For a start, choosing wood as the material for the chairs has been a great decision as though they didn't cost much more than my original metal ones, they look far more expensive. As a result of this my patio area looks far more sophisticated whenever I have people round for a barbeque.

If you are considering purchasing a set, there are a few things that you should know. For a start there are many different types of wooden foldable chairs that you can choose from. For a start mine are made primarily of teak but it is also possible to purchase wooden foldable chairs that are made of mahogany, fruit wood, white wood, oak and a few other natural wood types. After you choose the type of wood that you would like your chairs to be made out of, the next thing that you have to decide is the type of structure that you would prefer them to have. The most common type of wooden foldable chairs are simply folding arm chairs but you can also get side chairs, reclining dining chairs and even ones with built in foot rests which I am sure would be perfect for a Summers day spent lazing luxuriously in the back garden.

Another question that I had when I first went looking for wooden foldable chairs was whether or not they would be sufficiently durable. I have frequently knocked over my old chairs without a problem but I worried that the wood would be far easier to break. From examining the ones that I have bought however, they actually look very durable. All the nuts and bolts are glued as well as screwed in and the wood seems like it would take a very big hit to break it. They are also completely weather proof of course due to coming already painted with veneer. It is actually an option to paint over the veneer if you want a more exciting colour. Many people paint their wooden foldable chairs black, white, mahogany or else more natural hues.

One last thing that I would like to mention is that there is no reason at all that foldable wooden chairs should only be used outside. The cheapest ones would perhaps not be suitable for indoor use but I have seen many more expensive wooden foldable chairs and they looked like they would easily suit a nice kitchen or living room. So in conclusion as you can probably imagine at this point I am very much a fan of these forms of seating. I feel that they offer so much more space saving and convenience than the traditional non folding variety, yet are just as comfortable and come in varieties that are just as stylish.
